Why did I decided to become a Wee Piggies Franchisee? I had been wanting to start a business of my own for years. When I came across Wee Piggies & Paws, I knew I had found the one thing I could actually see myself doing and be happy doing it. I contacted Debbie and was soon on my way to becoming a franchisee. The selling point for me was the fact that there is just one “Piggie” per territory. This on its own secures our success.
The training was amazing. Debbie had planned everything and allocated the exact amount of time that each thing takes. To help even more (and have help later), I was provided with a detailed manual that makes it seem like she is right there answering my questions. She even fed us!!
The materials and the amount of supplies I was given to start off with is unbelievable. Debbie labelled everything and there is not one thing that I have not had to use.
The support group we have throughout Canada is wonderful. If you have a question about something and email the group, you will very soon have an answer!

It has been more than 2 years since I joined this business venture, I'm still as excited today about what I am doing as I was 2 years ago! I have a busy household with 3 kids but WeePiggies just fits right into the mix. It works around our schedule. This may sound impossible but with WeePiggies there are also never any dull days!! I treat my appointments as a chance to "visit" with customers as I help them create a unique memento of their child or children. Everyone has a different story, so when a customer comes in I enjoy sharing in their story. I also love the opportunity to share my own story with them. This also extends to the people who make up the group of franchisees as well. Not a week goes by that we don't share an up, or a down, or an idea for a "special" project as a group. The support given in a time of need is unprecedented, we are truly there for one another. Thank you to my customers, my fellow WeePiggies & Debbie for 2 great years.

The training and supplies provided are amazing. It was wonderful being able to talk to other owners prior to starting, then after I started, receiving the ongoing support through emails, the secure site, the forum.
Working with the other Piggies has been great.
I have had some wonderful experiences with getting to know and hearing the ideas from the other 'Piggies'. I have also been approached twice to do castings for ill children; when you see the joy in the families eyes it makes you realize that what you do is a very special keepsake!!

"This was the easiest, quickest way to get a business off the ground, and at a reasonable cost. I was going to pursue another career option before I found Wee Piggies, but it involved an expensive 2 year correspondence course and then I would still have to work or baby-sit kids to make ends meet. With this business, I figure that my expenses are going to be a bit more at first but I can begin right away and should be able to easily make a profit in about 1 year. And for that I Thank You!!!!"

"I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. It's been a blast! I cannot think of anything else I would rather be doing or a better group of people (from the top down) I would rather be working with. I don't think that there is any other franchise out there that gives you as much freedom and support at the same time. With Wee Piggies, it's like a big family, I do what I want, when I want, but there is always a helping hand there if I need it (whether it's from another franchise or HO). Oh, and not to forget the extras, such as getting group rates on supplies or credit card service. Being so busy these days with the baby, it's nice to have a group that will source out stuff and share with the whole group. I feel truly blessed to have found this career! I am proud to report that I have now been a Wee Piggy for 5 years.
I have truly enjoyed it. And looking back, I would not change a thing.
I have made tons of friends along the way, other Piggies, customers and lots of local area business owners.
I have the freedom to go on school field trips and to take a day off when one of the kids is sick. I don't struggle to find a babysitter for summer holidays or any other time the kids are off school.
My job is very rewarding, giving families keepsakes to remember some of the happiest times of their lives.
I had one customer tell me that when they moved, she had her sister personally take her child's Shadow Box to their new home as she did not want to take a chance packing it or moving it in her car, it was that special to her. This was her sister's sole responsibility. That's when I first realized how valuable these mementos are to people. They truly cherish them, and I take that very seriously.
I want people to enjoy them for years to come, because after all...

Wow! I can not believe that one whole year has gone by since I became a part of the Wee Piggies team!!
I cannot thank everyone enough for their patience, help and support (your patience with my email issues, for answering all of my 'simple' questions, and for just being there).
It feels amazing to be a part of such a great bunch of people!I spent 19 years working in a factory that I hated, and for me to be able to do this.... there are no words. I feel blessed to be able to get up each day and "go to work" doing something that I not only enjoy and believe in, but that I love! Every time that I work on a casting, I get goose bumps. When I get to hand the finished item to the Mom/Dad, I have the biggest grin on my face!I can't thank you enough, Debbie, for creating something that can touch so many people. Not only us lucky one's that get to be a part of making these beautiful memories for others, but for those that have it done.After one year, I am already seeing women coming back to me with a second child, saying how much they loved the first keepsake and had to have it done again for the second. Wow, where do I begin! I have had a desire to own my own business for years, however, could never find anything that was worth while or believable!

She makes getting started in this business foolproof. After training I thought I would never be able to remember how to do all of the steps involved in creating these beautiful works of art. The start-up kit I received was amazing, everything you need and more is included. I love the support we have both from Head Office and the other franchisees. All the ideas everyone shares are very beneficial. I love it. I love the fact that I can do this from home, pick my hours and the work load and I get to play with babies all the time. I think that this is one of the best home based businesses.

I do realize every little detail you put in. Getting shirts done was a nice touch like you say over-do everything.
It was great having all the paperwork done before hand, it really helped me prepare mentally since I had a visual.... and I saw the support on the secure site & forum. (Not sure I would have jumped in so fast had I not saw the background support). This is a very well run franchise. Also it was imperative Shane came, not only for the physical help with all the stuff to bring home but he now has such a open, positive mind, he understands and knows what goes into every step, and that is important when running a household. It was just a bonus we got a weekend at Niagara Falls too!

I initially discovered Wee Piggies & Paws while watching Breakfast TV one morning and I immediately went on the Internet to discover what this company was all about. I had goose bumps when I saw the tiny little statues of babies' feet and the precious little hand & foot prints on the website! "When I first started talking to Debbie about purchasing a Wee Piggies franchise, I already had a small business doing lifecastings for infants and children as well as carrying great baby keepsake items (baby time capsules, keepsake containers, etc.). At that time I had been operating my own business for about 6 or 7 months and I was exhausted from spending my days - and nights - being on the telephone and the computer doing research to satisfy my constant need to keep finding better ways to do business. I was tired of wasting time and money and was getting frustrated because I didn't have anyone I could call to bounce ideas off of who really knew what I was talking about, let alone how to help me. There are not enough words to describe the excellent training I received. Everything was so well set up and organized. I couldn't imagine how every possible item needed to get started was there.
